I am not familiar with CASE-IH diesel oil.... is it a synthetic?? Is this what you put into the Kubota's that you sell???

Junkman, about 4 years ago when I was asking dealers about Kubota's Super UDT and found that none in my area stocked it, I found one Kubota dealer who said the Case hydraulic oil was what they used in everything. Of course that was talking about hydraulic oil and this thread is about engine oil and I didn't ask him about that.

No Junkman Case-IH number 1 diesel engine oil isn't synthetic but it is what I recommend. They built the oil just before the 300 and 400 series engines were introduced and there goal was to get them to last for 3000 hours nonstop with no oil changes and full load as well as full throttle like we run tractors. The bulk of engine oils like for trucks is designed for 1/3 throttle 1/3 load. The 3000 hours part is the part of beyond all testing done on other oils. I would have enjoyed looking at the pile of parts getting an engine to run that long on a oil change! A lot of applications I wonder of the economics of synthetic as I believe that a lot of oil needs to be changed do to the time period not the hour meter. I didn't notice your attachment when I posted before!
