Do they come with a traditional price or something more updated (as in CHEAPER)?

My neighbor had the old style with 6 wheels and it was tough to steer and rough riding. He lost it in one of floods last year and bought the new style.......A big difference in the ride and handling, traction was just as good to me as well. they made a lot of improvements.

We have sold quite a few old style gators yet at the dealership. Some people like them especially farmers since they ride low to the groud and are cheaper than the HPX.

The new ones are very nice. I personally like the diesel it's a sweet ride. I have the old style at home no probs yet my dad says if it ever breaks we will get the HPX diesel but the old 6x4 Gator was kind of a cool rig.

I'll have to see if the new old style come in trail versions. That suspension on the 4x2 will be nice to have all the way around. I have noticed that the 6x4 rides better than my 4x2.

In August I traded in a Diesel 6x4 for a new Diesel HPX. The 6x4 was trouble-free but rough riding without any rear suspension. The HPX rides and drives much better than the 6x4. It's faster and the 4 wheel disc brakes shut er down a lot faster. Also love the 2 speed transmission. I've got 40 hours on my HPX and really enjoy it. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Farmers in my area like the HPX diesel since they have diesel on hand already and it has a lot of get up and go. The 25 mph rides makes for a shorter trip than my 15 mph Gator.

I had a chance to drive a Gator CS (mini-gator, 8hp gas). It was OK, but overall I wasn't impressed. It's a glorified golf cart. Not much cargo capacity and it was cozy with two up front. Power was OK for scooting around scout camp. I could see it as a good puttering vehicle but I sure wouldn't pay that much for puttering /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The T Series, gets some suspension and speed improvement. It seems it still has a plce, even with the success of the HPX.

The compacts are really for folks who just want a toy in the yard... We looked at them, too. But RockyRidge is no place for pretenders!!
