Will the real Kioti (Daedong) please stand up?

I know that Beverage Tractor is famous for taking old machines and painting them up and selling them. They deal in mainly used stuff. Both guys I know that bought tractors from them had problems that you could tell were there and just painted over. I would assume they are gray machines.

Nissan marketed vehicles worldwide,but from the 60's to the early 80's they were called Datsun here in the us. Is Daedong doing the same thing with their tractors??? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Thats correct gentlemen, these are grey market "new" tractors. I have a gentlemen in my area who is a supplier of grey market mistsu. and yanmars and he told me he could get some new Daedong machines and show me pictures of them...so unless he was lying I will have to go by what he tells me.

They are "Reconditioned" grey market tractors from Korea. They do look just like new. Sticker, seats, all faded plastic is replaced and they are completely repainted. I was approached also, just like gamble. He even made the comments "you are a Kioti dealer, you can get parts easy". At the time the price wasn't much different than a Real Kioti.

If you google korea tractor a site will come up that offers used daedong tractors by the container load. I first saw this about 2 years ago and wondered when they would get here...
