I have a Mahindra 3650 that has 2 female quick couplers for rear remotes. They are labeled port A and port B. The valve associated with these ports is described as a single spool, double acting type hydraulic valve. Push the lever forward it supplies port A. Push it backward and it supplies port B. whenever the lever is released it returns to center position, called neutral. Is this an appropriate set up to operate a hydraulic top link?

Good question. Maybe when the the handle returns to center? I obviously know very little about hydraulics. That is why I asked the question.

Exactly what you need. When you plug the hoses of the cylinder into your couplers, make sure that when you move the lever forward, the cylinder retracts and when the lever is moved rearward, the cylinder extends.

That's what I've got. I marked the coupler and hose so I always put the hoses on the same ports.

they sell color coated caps for both sides to keep it all straight when hooking up and removal.
