Will this valve work for me?

I am looking at installing rear remotes on my B7800. Specs on tractor say total pump output is 9.5. For now, all I will be using them for is to operate the shoot rotation on my snowblower. I figure if I am adding a valve it may as well be a two spool valve (t&t may be in the future). After looking at the many threads on here about rear remotes nobody seems to say why the went with the valve that they used, other than they already had the valve. Seeing that I have to buy the valve, I want to make sure that I get the correct one from the begining. I have a loader, so I will be running off the power beyond to new valve. This is the valve I am thinking of getting from surplus center. I think that it will work and appears to some what of a small foot print, and fair price. What do you think? Is there a better valve for my needs? If so let me know. Thanks in advance.

That should work just fine. The only "hitch" is the 8 GPM flow and your rated 9.5 GPM. But I think some of that flow is diverted to the steering...does it have a spec for "implement" GPM?

Edit: Be sure to get the PB plug when you order the valve.

I know that the B7800 output is split between steering and other hydraulic - yielding something like 6.5 GMP so the 8GPM valve should be fine.

I agree with Mike...You will be fine with that valve.

OK thanks guys. Unless somebody has a better option for a valve, I will order this one.
Good heads up on the PB plug, I would have not thaught to order that with the valve.

Just for the record - according to my B7800 manual, steering is 3.1GPM and other (listed as 3Point)is 6.4GPM. Same spec for B2710 & B2910.

A PB plug is used to plug the PB port . A PB sleeve is installed where the plug was, and is used to send fluid out to other circuits, like rear remotes.
