Will Yanmar make it work this time?

When Honda started making 4 stroke outboard motors, a local dealer couldn't sell any. No one thought you could do 4 stroke on the water. So this clever dealer started lending them out to his customers, and asking them for their feedback. He never got any back - they liked them so much, they all bought them. No brochures or advertising could do what actual experience could. That is the type of thing that might work for Yanmar.

I had a conversation with my local dealer who's switching from Kubota to Yanmar and LS. He and his techs went to school to learn how to fix the new Yanmar's. The new I-HMT transmission actually slides out the back of the tractor and can be shipped as a unit to Yanmar if it ever needs fixing. Pretty cool.
