Good idea. Would also "look offroady" mounted to the tool cat when not in use.

Have not needed it on the Toolcat yet.

Great idea! Already got mine stuck in mud on day 2 of ownership. How far away did you weld the holder from the boom arm? Any issues you ran into with welding a mount there before I look to go this route?

No issues yet. One might argue that it weakens the support structure of the boom by welding it like I did. On the other hand I technically welded in a "brace" so I think it will be OK. I nestled it in tight in the corner. Had to ensure it cleared any aux hydraulic hoses that could be hooked up. You can see in the 3rd picture up top where I placed it. Ties in with the shock bracket as well. Also keep in mind, my Toolcat has been a complete restoration project. So welding on it was not big deal. If I had a newer one in better shape, I'd probably have been more reserved about welding to it (still don't think it'd be an issue but find it tough on something brand new).
