Winch recommendations for 2" receiver tractor + jeeps

Ihfarm, congratulations on the retirement! Now the real work begins and you don't get to go to work and rest.

I would think hard about how your mount a winch to the tractor. If you mount to the loader bucket you will eventually end up putting some serious side loads on the loader arms. They are not designed for that and once twisted, well it wouldn't be a cheap fix.

Thanks! I'm loving it. Still haven't picked out a winch - too busy!

I'm still researching how/where to put the receiver mount on the tractor. I've thought about building an attachment for the draw-bar and modifying the brush guard on the front. And I plan to add receiver hitches to the front bumpers of the jeeps too.

I may start another thread, looking for ideas.
