You don't have a clue about wind until you have walked two miles to school in January
I lived 20 yrs in the Mojave, Joshua Tree specifically. Finally moved down off the hill and all I could say was good riddance to the wind! That move was 24 yrs ago. 57º and still this AM. A light fog has burned off and high temp today will be 93º just 90 miles south of my old stomping grounds.I’ve lived in the Mojave for over 30 years and this has been the windiest summer ever. Wind is 15 to 20 steady every day with higher gusts. Typically, when the temps go over 100 in July the wind stops.
If I had a wind turbine I could be rich. LOL.
High school friend lived out in Lancaster, CA forever. Wind always blew, only ranged from moderate to strong.I lived 20 yrs in the Mojave, Joshua Tree specifically.
