I'm going to be switching anti-virus software. I found an anti-virus I like and will use. The software that I'm looking at does not have a firewall. My previous software did. I did notice that Windows XP Home has it's own firewall software. My question. Is the XP firewall good enough for home use protection. I have not tried to start the wizard to set up the firewall. If it isn't good enough I will likely use use Zone Alarm or Sygate (sp?).

Again thanks in advance for the help

I saw tests on a web site I visit for all the firewalls and how effective they are. The test said the built in firewall for XP was for the most part not really an effective firewall. Zone Alarm rated pretty much the best, so I also installed it on my Daughters Laptop that has Windows XP and kept the built in firewall deactive. Hope this helps.
