Here is a couple of pictures of my set-up;copied from another TBN member.I started with a skid-steer plate and added 3x3 tube steel.Plow pivots on 1in.bolts and floats via the chain on the up right.I replaced the cylinders and hoses.
About the pheasant;I own an uplands hunting preserve, hatch and raise all my own pheasant.
I sell eggs, chicks and adult birds. We release birds on our preserve for hunting clients and sell some adult birds to people to stock their own land.I am licensed by the state as an uplands preserve and bird breeder.
If interested I will P.M.you my web-site address.I don't want to advertise my business on TBN and "ruffle any feathers"
Funny how they tie together,my tractors are used primarily to maintain the preserve and plow out the neighborhood in the winter.

Thanks for the pictures! That setup is sorta what I had in mind. I know there are a number of "plow builds" in this forum, but this one is probably the easiest to copy. Very nice! And for those of you that have built your own version of a plow setup, I also like those, but this one, I think, is probably a less time-consuming, build - for me. JMHO!

As for the web-site, I'd love to see it. Thanks for asking.

BADELS, ouch, already...... I guess we had a huge Halloween storm two years ago but it's still too soon. Thanks for the float response. I did read all those posts on using a truck plow but for me, I think I need to buy one already with a JDQA. I need it to come off quick and switch with bucket. It would cost about $750-$1000 for a truck plow if I can find one in decent shape. I don't think I will have time or the skills to rig one up.

Also it seems the few I have found on the net don't stick out as far and aren't quite as heavy as truck plows. That maybe helpful with using the tractors float. I also need to manually angle on it and those are made to do that. I don't have front hydraulics yet.

I can grab a used 7' blade that would be perfect, for cheap. But I am still worried about rear weight and traction. When I bought the tractor it was suggested on here to NOT fill the tires if you have a backhoe.

I filled my tires and I have a backhoe:shocked::D.
I'm glad I did, as the hoe will be coming off for the winter.
I just ordered a rear blade,Everything Attachments 7ft 6 Way Value Scrape Blade for Compact Tractors with 25-50 HP
I'm going to use that along with the loader bucket for the next season or two, or longer if it works out fine.
I need a grapple bucket come springtime, so I'll get by with the rear blade for now.

I have just left the backhoe on for weight (and easier storage).

I purchased a used Curtis 6'6" plow with hydraulic angle with the JDQA. The guy had it on a JD 3320 and had hydraulics run off his PB with a control lever mounted to the ROPS. I also go that set up with it. Should fit fine because the tractors are about he same size and the PB is setup the exact same way. He previously ran it using the curl feature of the bucket but didn't like it for many reasons. He said it works way better and easier with the 6-way option.

The guy sold it because he bought a smaller Kubota with a 52" front mounted blower and it was more then he needed. Probably a wise move considering his driveway was tiny. Probably took him longer to warm up the tractor then actually clear the driveway. His new setup is nice but not for my situation. I am sure he will be happy with it.

Just picked it up yesterday. When I have time to set it up I will post pics.

Thanks for responses.
