Big difference in our climates. After mowing, edging, and trimming a neighbor's yard and washing and vacuuming both our vehicles, I came in to turn on the air-conditioning before taking a shower. It's 82 this afternoon.

Last Sturday morning I woke up to all four dogs barking and howling like mad out the living room window. About 20 feet outside the house in full view from the picture window was a huge turkey gobbler all puffed up and strutting his stuff! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif He'll be going strong for the next six or eight weeks with his daily display of virility.

Soon the hummingbirds will be back too. BTW, we also have about 1,500 wintering Sandhill cranes who are also beginning to make themselves scarce around here now too.
