We are preparing for the worst. Lots of diesel, gas for generator, fire wood, food etc. Will hook up the snow blower in the morning... again... and grease and oil. We are expecting to see the start of this tomorrow afternoon.

Predicting 40-50 cm of snow - just under 2 feet! With blowing gusts of 120km - 75 mph.
Last storm we had like this prediction was in 2005 - got snowed in for 4 days. Been watching the weather out off Boston - which I do every day - and it is not looking good. Hopefully I can tract it via TBN with more precise info. Be safe all.

I was working on the tractor today in a long sleeve shirt. Just looked outside and about fell over......it's coming down and there's snow on the ground.....again! this has been a looong winter!

Looks like the storm is going to just brush by us. Being north and west of Boston is a good thing this time. Stay safe to who ever is in its path.

So much for March going out like a lamb...IMO...old man winter has worn out his welcome...!

The early spring flowers say otherwise but until the buckeye's leaf out...it ain't spring yet...!

Managed to break a chain on the snowblower impeller auger drive today. Wrapped the chain around shaft cog... bent the metal cover... needed a hammer, punch and a bunch of tools to fix. Not a fun repair in a blinding snow storm. Shear pin broke... no damage to tractor. Used the last of the connecting links I had on hand.

Wind is stronger now than earlier today. Still have power...
