Wire that attaches to my positive cable .?

I have a 2017 Mahindra 26xL My positive cable was corroded and I replaced it but theirs another wire that connects at the post and the clip was disintegrated, dealer doesn’t know what the wire is for and cannot find a find new clip connector can I just put it directly to the positive post ..?View attachment IMG_2009.jpeg

I want to replace the positive battery cable and aside from the price of the oem, I don’t care for the light gauge clamps. The question I have is there’s a second cable attached to the positive clamp with plug in connector that goes to the main 50 amp fuse. I’d like to replace this cable also...
