Gator boy that is exactly what I have one machine as a gateway to the net with a hub and/or router on the backside. That gives me more control and really is a spectacular difference on crap that hits the main client terminals.
v8Dave had it right, in the wireless router there was a switch that was interfereing with the primary internet host computers settings. This prevented the clients from properly detecting the ICS share, but did not prevent the proper network setup.
