If your truck has plug under back bumper it has trailer towing package should have a plug adapter and wire with plug in dash for Brake control . Some Dealers Remove them and sell them back to you . You also have to install fuse in fuse box on left inside fender Main fuse box witch also comes with wiring harness Taped to it. You will also find that each set of lights have there own fuse to trailer. Harness plugs in wiring box under left side of dash on fire wall. It took me about 10 min to hook mine up. Yep.. should be easy as pie. I did it on my 2000 yukon.. had the factor harnes that goes tot he controller and the dash, plus the maxi fuse. took all of 10 minutes.
