Here I am again, another new thread. Anybody know the color coding and wiring scheme for a BX2230?
I have only the small turn lights on the back end and one red tail light. Everything else is dead. The larger round lights have both elements wired together and that part looks like it was that way from the factory. The bulbs appear ok, but I can't get anything out of them trying to hotwire them either. I get nothing for a volt reading in the sockets anywhere. I lifted the seat and found two different hot wires (on the key) and another ground wire. I'm thinking of adding some more lights and these two wires would seem to fit the bill, but without knowing what they were intended for, I'm a little gunshy of just hooking something up. Also, does the fuel gauge wire come up through this bundle as well? There's one pair that disappears up under the fender on the left side. A color code to go by would be extremely helpful as well as a diagram. Thanks!
