Wiring harness connector help

Thanks guys! After. visiting a few auto stores that had no clue I picked up a small Soldering iron and did exactly what u said. I'm estimating there was about 3mm exposed so I soldered up, individually heat srinked, couple individual wraps with electrical tape then both wires wrapped with tape then large piece of heat srinked together then loom.

Resistance checked out and gas gage works again.

Guess I got lucky. Only had to do gas gage, one of the block temp gages and the washer fluid hose.

Fit that In between my major service interval. Changed hydraulic fluid (SUDT2), both filters, front axle, fuel filter, flushed radiator and adjusted the A/C belt. All that's left is the engine oil and I should be good for another 400 hrs assuming I can keep the mice away

But you forgot to get the cat :duh: - Lots of them up for adoption, some even free as barn cats. You only feed and water those :thumbsup::cool2:

had the same problem about a month ago except I had rats. how did you get rid of the mice? I was able to splice my wires together using some end terminal connections and a short piece of wire between the 2 ends. still have 1 wire with a lot of the insulation off of it. cant figure out where it goes. seems like everything works like it should. when it warms up and dries up try to figure it out then.

Unfortunately I'm not out there full time so a cat isn't an option...

I bought some kind of spray at Walmart garden section supposed to keep them away... Has a fairly strong smell so only time will tell..
