Operating cost will be less on 240v. But not really noticable. Maybe pennies a year

I did wonder about that. The only difference is on 120 the heater won't run when the jets are running. But since it scavenges jet pump heat while it is running it only drops about 1 degree every 20 minutes or so in pretty cold weather. It's not like you spend an hour in the tub anyway.
