Too bad he trashed the field corn. A 500 S&W would have been less damage and a bear rug.

I sure didn't think it was going to work, especially when he missed the first time.
It worked surprisingly well.
I'm pleased with the outcome.
Seems to me it was a lot more rewarding than shooting a healthy bear cub with a can stuck on it's head,.... And.... it's not poaching.
What would I say when my friends asked..."Hey... where did you get the rug"?

The bear must have been stressed out to hear the machine approach and not know what to do, if he could hear it.....
