WIX oil filter for JD4100

The WIX 51365XP seems to be equivalent to the JD filter. Any concerns with using it? OReilly stocks them, so it's 30 miles closer.

For the little cost savings, I am done using crossed filters. Forget about size, and threads. Is the micron rating the same?

I order OEM JD filters on line, if you buy 4 or 5 at a time you can usually get them shipped for free.

WIX is a first rate filter and their filter lookup tool on their website has been 100% successful for me. I also buy mine at O-Reilly's and have had no issues.

Napa filters are made by Wix you could also use them. I work on generators and my company uses Napa and O'Reilly. Never had an issue with Wix filters.

Wix and Baldwin are great filters and I have used them in the past, I just prefer to go OEM when possible.

And if you have any warranty issues it one less thing for the dealer to question.
