- New Holland WM25 with 200LC front end loader, filled R4 tires 43X16.00-20 and 25X8.50-14 (had a Kubota B6200D with dozer and R1 tires)
When I first insert the key and turn it to on, there's an immediate rapid ticking sound coming from near the fuel filter. I'm guessing that's a fuel pump? And the glow plugs start heating in preparation for starting.
But is it OK to leave the tractor in this state for a few minutes, so I can fill my fuel tank while watching the fuel gage? Or is it hard on anything because the tractor thinks it's going to be started momentarily?
Or should I start it and fill with the engine running? The tank's quite distant from the engine....
