I had to put down the neighbors dog. It had killed multiple chickens and was chasing and already caused damage to a calf. Neighbor heard the shot and came down, he was pzzzzzed . I had econ on the phone before he got there. He gave the econ officer such a hard time he got a ticket and had to pay vet bills. I had called eon several times on this dog and they were warned If the dog was in the fenced pasture terrorizing animals it was fair game.99% of ranchers know what their neighbors dogs looks like. In many states you can also shoot them if they'll in your pasture, chasing your livestock. Nonetheless, the people who raise livestock can see when an animal is stalking there cattle. They thought it was a wolf and I'd still bet donuts its a high-bred of sorts.
