Can't comment on the Kabota as I have no experience on that make. But I would like to say that after I bought my New Holland TC-40D I went out to visit my dealer and noticed a TC-45D with backhoe & Front End Loader sitting with the used tractors on his lot. It still had the clear plastic on the control levers yet the tractor had 90+ hours on it. When I asked about it the dealer told me he had a customer that owned a lot of tractors used as his toys. He bought often, grew tired quick, then sold, and bought more. Unfortunately deals like that only happen along after I make my purchase. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Back to the original post. The 3830 would be better suited to moving bales. I move bales with a lighter tractor, but I use 700Lb bales, and of course, am using ballast, Lotsa folks get hurt (or worse /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif ) with bales.

I stated that right from the get-go. I used my 3710 for rounds but always with ballast on the back. It would be suicide literally to try it without some counter weight on the 3 point. 4wd gives you the feeling that you have traction when in fact, the rears could be hardly touching the ground. Rough terrain makes it worse. That's why I asked her to do her bio. I was curious where she resided.

When loading the round bale feeders with the 5030, I am always extremely careful and run in L range. I routinely lift the bales over the fence and drop them in feeders. This necessitates having the bale high in the air and raises your center of gravity appreciably. Even putting a front tire in a rabbit hole could upset you with disastrous results.

I always use extreme caution. Better to err on the side of safety.

Something else shoud be stated here. Most CUT's have more capability in their FEL's than the actual weight of the tractor. Simply stated, you can get in trouble with the FEL in short order.
