If it has glow plugs DO NOT USE ETHER.....

Big 10-4 (agree) if you got glow plugs and ether you will probably train wreck you engine. Th ese new diesel engines are not like the old ones when it comes to popping one off with ether.

Sounds like you ran it out of fuel. You might have to bleed the air out of the lines.

I agree with bleeding the fuel lines but will add one thing. While bleeding your system you have to turn the switch to the on position to open the fuel shutoff valve.
