Well a little more info. would help. Like model 753, S300, T-190 etc. Also approx year model. Number of hours. Type controls......

Are your hydrostatic pumps controlled by a cable or is it hyd controlled? Something is binding causing the lever not to go to neutral.

sorry about not putting enough info i think i found the problem it was the
in the linkage the plate above the motors has some stops and it had come loose and a rubber bushing was worn in the linkage
