I believe that Buhler snowblowers are marketed under several brand names. Allied, Farm king and Buhler are all the same. I have an Allied 60 inch snowblower that I have had for the past tws seasons. We got over 180 inches of snow two years ago and over 160 inches last year. the snowblower got a good work out both years. A very good piece of equipment.

Yup. Allied is the super heavy duty version for commercial operation, at least the large units. Buhler and Farm King are, as I understand it, for more moderate usage. The way it was explained to me, Allied stuff is for the street deparment, large malls, and places where heavy snowfall is normal and abuse of equipment is normal too. Don't know if that is how others see it, but that's what I was told.

But all 3 are the same company out of Canada.

Cortland New Holland, north of Warren, sells Buhler Farm King products. I guess that's about 90 minutes from you. Buhler was one of the mowers I was contemplating on buying earlier this year.
