I am getting ready to do the same installation. I was thinking about using manuel dampers but can see some possible problems with that.

How much did the electrical dampers cost and are they on a different thermostat?

I've been burning non-stop for a couple of weeks and this furnace keeps things nice and warm, not to mention that the gas furnace has not run at all! We've kept a constant 71-72 degrees throughout our 2500+ sq ft home. Before on gas we only kept it at 68, how did we keep from freezing to death!?

Hopefully I have not driven anyone nuts with these posts but I did it with the intentions on showing anyone who was interested in such project. This site has been helpful to me and hopefully I can return that assistance to someone else.
