Wood chipper- is it best to rent, or buy?

I bought one of those Chinese chippers.

A Jinma, 8".

PTO driven, and it WILL actually take an 8" chunk of tree.
I very rarely put anything over 5" in it as most of that is firewood.

It also takes vines, leaves, and the clean up from my splitter.

I usually run it off my MF50 now but have used the 9N or the newer Ford 1510. All run it just fine, 20HP is more then enough to power it.
Chips go into the woods or in my trailer or pick up.

Cost way under 2K.

I chip when I want to and let it set when I don't, it has paid for itself..

Many Chinese companies make this same chipper so shop around for price. Parts are available on line from U.S. sources.
