Burn pallets! Everyone knows you build fences out of pallets, and out of stacks of firewood!

Someone just moved into their new house about a mile away from us, their yard is pure mud so they used about 50 pallets to make a sidewalk from their roadfront mailbox to the porch.
Not fancy, but cheap.

You know I should have done that when we move in the fall of 2002. Now we have grass and I have the fun of putting the walk in this summer.
