Check out the wood splitter on this web site
looks like it would be great on a Power Trac. I wonder why they haven't done that attachment yet?

I might have to do it myself.... /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Wonder if someone has to be in the skid steer all the time?

Yes. It appears that you just line up your logs and drive over them. Use the steering to position over the log and squeeze. Pop! Interesting. It would take a lot of back and forth, but what would you rather do... carry each log to the log splitter or drive up to each log and split it in place? Looks interesting.

What a great idea...flip a typical wood splitter upside down, and use the "host" machine to pick up the log...I like that... /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
