KIOTI DK40(2002)) Jacobsen 628D AWD Turfcat
I'm hoping someone can give me some advise on this piece of equipment.
I have the opportunity to place a sealed bid on a little used Woods 750 BH.
Is this what they now call the 7500?
The intended tractors we would use this on would be a Kioti DK40 and a JD4410,would this be a good bh for these?
What would you offer for the 750 bh?
Last,is this a good unit for home and occasional contract use?

Thanks in advance,Mike
PS Do these use the tractor hydraulics? or is there a pto pump?

I had a 7500 (newer model of 750) on a L2900 Kubota.
I traded the 7500 for a 9000 and then put it on my SSL.
The 7500 was on small side for the L2900.
I would go for the 9000 for your size machine, BUT if the price
is cheap u my not be able to turn it down.
When I bought the 7500 new w/ subframe, pto kit,and 2 buckets $5400.
Your tractors will enough hyd. flow to run it, BUT if u share oil w/ tractor
what ever is in hoe WILL go in your tractor (metal shavings or wrong type oil or ???).
I flushed out the 9000 when I got it, before hooking up, or put a filter
on return line to clean oil.
If u know what they had it on will help(Bobcat equip. uses motor oil for hyd. system).
I wouldn't go over $2250.00 if it doesn't have pto kit and 3PT hitch, what buckets come w/ it ?
Woods is good for getting the subframes or in my case the SSL quik-tach plate, they
also sell the 3PT mount for it or u could make one.
It doesn't have much reach so digging utility trenches (4' then pull up) is slow work but for
occasional homeowner use it would be fine.
That was why I got rid of the tractor and hoe and replaced them w/ JD 250 SSL w/ trencher
and the 9000 hoe. I've dug 600'/hr. 30" deep in good soil w/ trencher.
This is a real nice set-up, anyway sorry for long post.

I bought a used woods 750 BH w/16" gannon bucket from a friend a couple of years ago for $2,000.00. I have had it on a frame mount on a Ford 1520 (@19 hp at PTO), and now have it on a 3 pt. hitch mount on a NH TC35D. I use it around the home/ranch. It has a PTO pump with it own hyd. reservoir. Has worked well on both machines for digging out rocks/stumps. Good luck. Jim
