Do not use Corrosion X, or any similar product!
Use OSPHO as a primer, and then apply two thin coats of oil base enamel to the entire the assembly.
Use Corrosion X, Fluid Film, Boeshield, or LPS-3,.... AFTER painting, to seep into the spaces between the valves.

I didn’t see your reply before I went the Corrosion X route. All looks good and next time I’ll look into the paint option you mentioned. Thanks

I don’t have a picture of the console valve after Corrosion X but here is the completed project.
