Woods 7500 backhoe - hose leak

Wow, that is tight. Same backhoe I'm pretty sure, but the hose I had was for a bucket line. Most likely laid out the hydraulic lines, then installed the cylinder, but that doesn't change what you have to do. Have fun!

Mine is about the 2004 Era, I removed the boom Cylinder and yanked it out, I have access now and can floss the hose until it hits the 90 degree turn by the Kingpin for the swing, all the hoses go through there and MAN!! is it tight, The fitting AGAIN is holding things back. If I cannot get it out, i won't be able to get the new one in. So I'm now thinking of just running a hose and using screw on compression fittings (If I can find one anymore) after the hose is pulled through, Will see if its possible.

I would not advise on using screw on compression fittings. I know that the tolerances are tight, but you might have to disassemble the kingpin or the boom pin to make it work. A little more work and the right parts go a long way when you are in the middle of a project.
Last thing you want is a boom hose to fly off and at the least, soak you or your project with oil. At the most hurt or kill someone!

Finally got it done a few weeks ago, I had a hose made up here locally, the hose I pulled out was 1 wire and that's what went back in. The diameter was a bit bigger but once I separated the boom from the kingpin and yanked it back, it went right in. Got a few hours on it no issues but WOW, what a pain to fix.
