I've been looking for a used 7 foot wide landscape rake for my 35hp, Kubota L35. The Kubota has 4 wheel drive and the tires are foamed. I'm going to be using the rake to maintain crushed stone drives and parking areas.
I've found a used Woods LR800 that's 8 feet wide and weighs in at around 400lbs. Will that be too much rake for my 35hp tractor? I see alot of rakes with exta weight piled on and that makes me think the extra weight may be a plus.
My tractor has a catagory one, three point hitch. The guy selling the rake isn't sure if it's cat one or two and he lives 110 miles away. He said he doesn't know much about york rakes. Does anyone happen to know if it's a big pain to switch a Woods rake from cat 2 to cat one?
