If you go back and check the threads you'll find several TBY'ers who state that they've been quoted a specific formula with the hours multiplied by 10. I haven't, but there are people on the threads who say they have.
The primary denotation of 'behoove' implies a "necessary responsibility". That seems a little strong.
IF the bh works well (and that is still an unknown), the numbers look in Woods favor to me, resale or not. We are fortunate to live in a country where we can each decide for ourselves what to buy.
It just doesn't sit well with me that some engineer or liability lawyer wants my tractor to turn off on its own. If I want to get out of the seat and move the hose without shutting down or disengaging, I think I should be able to. I'd rather have the 2200 than a 23 with this built in safety cop. There's too much political correctness & government interference already. I want a plain old tractor that just does what I want it to without all these ridiculous hidden switches. I know Kubota doesn't want to get sued, but this business is getting out of hand.
Thank you Junkman for pointing out that the Woods bucket is 16" wide. That's helpful to know. You are right that a wider bucket makes the force less concentrated, so I have to wonder whether it will dig in my hard clay. The kind of feedback I'm interested in is to hear somebody say that their Woods bh did or didn't dig successfully in hard soil.
O.K. what brave soul will get the award for the first purchase? We're all waiting to hear from you. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
