Woods Backhoe on a BX2350?

Actually, it was Matt who was talking about the BX23, and the fact that he wrote about the 23 is beside the point.

You said that Matt needed to "give Neil a break", when Matt hasn't said anything out of line or in the wrong tone.

When Matt stated his opinion that the Woods is better built, you replied sarcastically that his thoughts were "mind boggling".

You closed your post with "Geesh," which was arrogant and rude.

When I answered all the questions you sarcastically asked, all you could respond with was, "The original posters comments were in regard to the Bx 2350 and bx 24. Not the bx 23 that you were talking about."

Your comments do not add anything constructive to the conversation here. You seem simply to want to be contentious. Please try to find something constructive to contribute.

I read the post above mine as giving Neil a hard time. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong.

I do feel Neil gave good advise.

Thank you for your reply.

Neil does, and always has, given good advice and information. Disagreeing with someone, however, does not equivocate with giving him a hard time. It simply means each has a different perspective.

Neil spends a lot of time on here, giving information and advice to people who will never be his customers. That's something he certainly doesn't have to do. Other dealers don't do that. Neil voluntarily serves as an ambassador for Kubota and all the Kubota dealers. By doing this, he surely promotes a great deal of good will. I think that most of us who have been participants on the 2 Kubota forums would say that's pretty accurate.

So I'm definitely in agreement with you on this one. Three cheers for Neil Messick, the dealer who not only takes care of his own customers, but graciously serves all of us out here in cyberland as well! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I think this thread has been pretty nutz based off of my response. I know Neil, he hooked me up with a tractor, but I guess we should go duke it out in the garage. Give it a break guys. I simply dont think the BX23 BH attaches as easily as the Woods model. I can't say on the BX24 since I've not played with one of those.

If money is no issue, but the BX23 or BX24 upfront, if not, you can add a BH and be just as happy.

Now everyone go take a Zoloft and give it a rest.

Lt's start and oil thread now. Or better yet and oil and filter thread. ............... I think Rotella is the best. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Not sure if you’re referring to my comments or scroungers, but my comments are to make people aware to not just take one persons view as fact, but verify with several sources if possible. Salesmen are salesmen first, that’s how they make their living. If a customer gets what is better vs. what makes a salesman more money is a question that can be debated forever without a winner.

A side note to my comments:
I normally would not have clicked on this thread because I’m not interested in a backhoe, but I clicked on it anyways when I saw mention of aftermarket implements because I was curious if I would see a dealer claiming they were not as good, and sure enough. I have no idea BTW of Woods vs. Kubota backhoes, Neil may or may not be right, my point was more on don’t rely on one source, check things out from several and draw your own conclusions. Any input anyone gives is good, positive experience or negative, it gives you a base for further questioning.

I was at one of my local John Deere Dealers (Stoneham's to get a part for my BCS tiller). Anyway, when I was there, I noticed that they had their subcut 2305 set up with a backhoe (not a woods, and can't remeber the name on it). Any way I hopped on it just to see how it fit me. Seemed like a decent backoe but the back of my head was leaning up against the top of the Rops. Did not like that at all. I would have to get an aftermarket Rops if I were to get one of these. Not sure how this would relate to the 2350. The 2350 Rops may be taller than the John Deere 2305. Just passing on what I encountered the other day.
