I have a Kubota BX23480 with FEL and want to purchase brush hog. My dealer recommends a 48" LandPride. He also sells Woods but says the Woods Brushbull48 is too heavy for this small tractor. However, I have found a Brushbull48 on Craigslist that is mush cheaper than buying a new LandPride from the dealer. What is your opinion...is the Woods 48 too heavy?

The Land Pride is lighter but only by 80 pounds or so. It will be a load for the BX2380 but I would not be afraid to use woods.

What your mowing conditions...rough ground,slopes,what are cutting could be factor,

I question if the 48" Woods will properly fit the Category 1 Three Point Hitch on a Kubota BX. If it fits reasonably well you may be short of mower adjustment increments.

I do not know for certain but I have a doubt.

Call Wood's customer service to check on BX fit.




The dimensions of a Cat 1 TPH are standard across brands.

The lowest drop point is not. The highest lift point is not. The range between the two points is not.
