Ok, if i want a quick detach system, i have to go with a non-kioti loader. The Woods 1009 & 112 look like they will match-up and seem to out spec the KL130. So does the Bush Hog 246. Anybody have these loaders on their CK30 and how do ya like 'em?
Then the other option(if i stay with the KL130) is the Bucket Pallet forks which attach by welding tabs along the top of the bucket. I will be building a log home and the 'forks are a must!
I ordered my CK30 today, but it's not too late to change the loader. Arrgg!

You can get a QA system from ATI and other suppliers for the KL130 Loader.

Some points to consider that apply to all tractors/loaders.

Non-OEM brands may outspec the OEM brand loader but will the tractor's axle support the added load? See some of the Jinma posts about damaged front ends

If you buy Non-OEM loaders, and the tractor breaks, will the tractor manufacturer void the warrenty?

If you buy the OEM loader and add bolt on forks, the loader capacity will be greatly dimished because the load will be carried very far forward of the pivot points. Specifically on the 130 loader, the capacity would likely be about 650# on the forks to full height, this is due to the pivot point capacity is 1155#, it is reduced about 30% at 500mm forward of that point dropping it down to roughly 810# inside the bucket, as the pallet forks are in front of the bucket it would be safe to reduce the capacity even further.

So given all that, you'll need to balance the need for capacity provided by the aftermarket loaders that offer the option you want and compare that to risk you might take by using them, versus the capacity you might loose by using clamp on buckets.

Another option would be to use an ATI QA system, I am pretty sure they offer one for the 130 loader.

I wish you were closer to me or visa-versa. Everytime somebody is looking for something, you have it. I need to make the drive to your place sometime but I probably should leave the checkbook and credit card at home. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
It's nice to know that dealers like you are out there.

Hello Motor, I have the Woods 1012 loader on my ck30 with the quick attach setup. Kioti allows both the 1009 and 1012 woods loaders for the ck30. I asked this very question to my dealer. The loader is a real brute, but its not the curved arm like the k130. As far as lifting capacity its rated at around 1400 lbs to the pivot , and 3050 lbs breakout force. I have 1400-1500 lb concrete slabs littered on my property and it will lift them easily, and not just enough to move them around. I lifted them well above my machine and only had about 400 lbs in my ballast box, rear end started getting light, so i stopped trying to see how high it would lift them, id bet it would lift to full height though. I had 2 kubota and 2 kioti dealers highly recomend the woods loaders to me. I cant speak for the k130 though, but you will definitely get a better working view (curved arm design) and better digging capability with the k130. The woods has the older style dog leg design. The woods will dig 3" while the k130 will dig 5+ ". Perhaps others can chime in with the k130s lifting permormance for you. The kioti compenents are very beefy and you will have no problem if you do decide on the woods. The woods bucket is heavy duty and you can also get the 66" bucket if you decide to go that route.I liked the 60". Make sure you get a tooth bar witch ever you choose, they are a very handy attachment....Good luck... Matt

Thanks guys, 'yall brought up some very good points. I have decided to stick with the KL130, and most likely drag out the welder and make my own forks. Looking in the "Customization Discussion" i found quite a few good ideas. Besides, i enjoy fabricating anyway.... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I have the KL130 FEL on CK30 SS. At first I thought it was a litttle small but soon figured out it was probably designed specifically for the CK30 system. In some situations the KL130 will lift the rear tires off the ground, and thats with a heavy Woods 72" box scraper attached on the 3ph.

The Woods FEL is bigger and will lift more. Keeping safety in mind, I think you could realy get yourself in trouble with too much FEL and not enough counterweight.

The KL130 is a lot tougher than I initially thought and provides excellent visability. I moved and spread about 250 yards of wet heavy fill dirt with ease in very short time. With the saved money, buy the best Box Scraper you can get!

Have Fun and be Safe

I can only speak of the KL130. When I first saw it, I thought it looked rather small for that tractor compared to the one on a Ford I had at the time. After moving some topsoil, I realized it was plenty big due to the roll back angle. It could hold more material than the old Ford's bucket. Just have to watch when you get higher or you could dump some back on the hood. Haven't done this yet and don't plan on it. (I was warned from the dealer about this and never forgot it). /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
