Hi Guys,
My bb didn't have scarifiers and I just ordered 1 to try for fit. The slot dimensions were close and I figured I can always clearance it. The bb is pretty old.
I never saw when I measured but the front lower section of the slot has bar stock welded to the lower lip, inside the slot. No way to remove it and it makes the forward lower lip 15/16.
The scarifier sits in and locks itself but only on the top lip and it's angled backwards and is hard up against the lower back slot/lip.
It doesn't seem like the way it should be. You can get back slot scarifiers but they are 16" long from memory and I need 18".
Can anyone shed some light?
My other option is to get scarifiers with the pin holes and weld some angle on top of the slot section. Those style are often a little cheaper from what I have seen as well.
