To All:

I obtained the aforementionned rake for "free" :D. I had to extricate the rake from a junk pile, attach it to my 3PH, and transport it the 1+ miles back to my property. My wife (a.k.a. "SHE WHO MUST BE OBEYED") suspected once again that I was up to something  and intercepted me on the highway. Fortunately I was street legal with all my lights, hazards, etc. in operation. Even the "comptroller" could not argue with this acquisition. My question to the readership: Can I order replacement rake teeth from an on-line provider?

Thank you in advance for the anticipated input :). Jay

Hi Jay,
What a great find ! :) I would think that your local Woods Dealer should be able to get you what you need !

Agri-Supply sells the standard tines that are used by most manufacturers. They have both 1 and 2 hole tines and they should be perfect replacements for yours. See them on page 48 of the October catalog.

JB: If you need a copy of the Woods manual for that rake, let me know. I picked up an LR-107 and it's the same manual for both rakes....just different sizes.

By the way...nice find. The one I found cost me money!

Jon- thanks for the offer. I downloaded the Woods manual. Once in a while one will get lucky. Next weekend I am going to seriously take a look at the main frame assembly to see what condition it is in. It looks a little "abused". If it is in fairly good shape I will probably start to "work" the "COMPTROLLER a.k.a. "She Who Must Be Obeyed" for a matching 7' back blade. Of course the discussion will center around "look at all the money I saved". Jay
