Has anyone compared these Woods 72" rear mount mowers for quality of cut and discharge properties? I have a RM-660 and it works great but would like a rear discharge. I once had an Imco rear dischage 60" unit with disappointing results. It always left clumps like Pom-Poms behind if the grass was too tall. How does the Woods rear discharge perform with tall grass?

I have a Woods rear discharge (RD-6000) that I used this past season for finish mowing. Even in the tall stuff, I never had a problem with the cut grass clumping or windrowing. I'm sold on the rear discharge over the side discharge.

I have the RD7200. No clumps for me, even in tall wet grass.

I have used the RD7200 finish mower on my yard for 1 season and love it. It is well built, quiet, no streaking, and no clumping. I do not have the chain kit at rear. I would never go back to a side discharge mower or a belly mower for that matter. I had a Woods side discharge pulley drive mower before this but the RD7200 is much quieter and does a better job mowing.

I also have a RD 6000 and I am very impressed with the mower, no clumping always worked well. I don't think you can go wrong with Woods and the rear discharge is a real plus.
