Woods vs. Landpride

Thanks for the input folks!

I decided to go with Woods for both the box blade and the rotary cutter. They were both more substantial products than the Landpride offerings. The Woods cutter was especially stout - with heavier gauge material, boxed sections (vs. upstanding flanges). The box blade had more reinforcements. The finish on both was only "so so" - but I can live with that.

One lesson for me from the notes in this thread is to shop and compare for each implement - when it comes to getting a tiller or finish mower I'll shop around again.

Thanks for all of your help. The tractor arrives tomorrow... Better than X-mas... /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif

I have a Woods 7200 RD, which is a 6' rear discharge and I have had no problems at all with it. I have used it for about 4 years now cutting my 10 acres and my in-laws 5 acres. It is my 2nd Woods, the first was a previously worn out unit that I picked up for 400.00 used 1 year, and got my money back on trade in on the 7200. I am sold on Woods quality, but I am sure the LP is a good choice also.
