Those are fine looking projects Larry, both the woodworking and the painting! You and your wife are very talented. Do you do the turning on the small tables? I hope to add a lathe to my arsenal someday /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Yes i do the turnings. I have a tracer attachment for my wood lathe. Once you make one leg for a sample the next only take about 10 minutes each. I rough in several at once then do the finish work. If i spend 5 hours on the lathe i can make about 35 legs. I keep a stock of each componant to those tables. Depending on whats sold the most i can pop more together. Any one of those pedistal tables we sell for 35.00 each. People love them at that price. We make lots of stuff and then advertise a sale at our house 3 times a year plus do a few shows. It gets to the point where we will have walk'ins now and then and we cant even have a sale at our house cause we cant keep up. Its fun and it help pay for the tools i just love to buy../w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif
Thanks for the good words guys!

Larry,

You need to open up a web site and offer these for sale online. They are very nice and would compliement any TBN forum members home nicely.

Thanks for the confidence, but by the time you pay shipping the price increases to the point where no one wants to buy. I have found that most people would rather go to the store and pay much more for lesser quality because it came from a real store. My mother in law is great for that. If it has a Bon Ton or Mcurdies tag on it and it cost three times what its worth its gotta be better. Allthough she still askes me for freebies all the time/w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif. I built many cabinets for her and when she sold her house last year the buyers loved them so much she left them all. She's so considerate.

Ouch!

You know, you might wind up with some takers even with shipping in the mix ...
