Here is my first work light. I found these rubber cased work lights at Princess Auto for $6. I bought 2 but I only have one installed right now as I still need to mount my SMV sign and I'm not sure if this one will stay in its current location.

Power is from the factory wire harness under the Remote Hydros. Power is only supplied with key ignition is on. So I installed a switch inside the rubber boot of the light. Simple setup but it works.

Very nice! Now we need a picture at night to see how well it works. :D

I need to install some rear work lights on my cab this year, hours of snowblowing after work in the short winter days means lots of night time work.

I have yet to see the headlights myself! I'm up too early for work to stay up that late. Will have to wait a month or so for less daylight hours.

Don't worry, the loader cross arm takes good care of blocking the headlights usefulness. :D

I'm putting lights on the front of the cab too!

You guys might already be aware of this, but the Kioti factory rear work light with the bracket (actually two, depending on how you want to mount it to the ROPS) is ~$20 from Michigan Iron & Equipment. Works quite well and includes a switch mounted to the light, and proper pigtail to match the factory wiring of course. I'll try to remember to snap a picture.

Any idea what the alternator output on CT230 is and the available wattage at idle rpm? I want to do the same and want to make sure there is enough watts avail for the extra lights, especially at idle rpm.

Thanks for that information, Josh. Didn't know that. I'll check them out. How long did it take you to install them?

The install is cake-at least for a CK20S (CT 122). Remove two bolts that attach the right side of the ROPS structure to the tractor, slip this bracket in place and reinstall the bolts. Add the light to the bracket (one more bolt) and connect the two slip-on electrical connectors.

A 10 minute, 1/2 beer job.

The alternator on my tractor says 50 amp, which seems to be stronger than other brands I researched (JD, Kubots). Should be plenty of output for just about all lights. I'm not sure what it can output at idle, though. 50 amps at 14 volts is 700 watts (wattage = voltage * amperage).

Me too :). I'd like more info on the worklights from Kioti. I need to add some to my CT230 before the winter.

Thanks,
Doug
