Don't buy those oval lights from Deere! They are JW Speaker lights and you can buy them from Sloan Express for 19.99 each catalog #097525 and they are the 3x5 high performance ovals. Same exact lights Deere buys and markets as their own. You can see them above the flashers on my rops. This also is not the greatest place to put them because the will "side blind" you.

I added the lights mainly because I sometimes need them coming back at dark from the back of the property line and they are pointed outward and don't blind me unless I lean forward and look to the side now.......:)

sure wish I new about the price before I bought from deere.....

Are your switches weatherproof? Only ask if you are going to deal with snow. I have replaced 2 switches because I didn't realize how much water there is in snow. Just something to think about

there's usually not too much snow in Arkansas and the 2320 stays in the garage out of the weather so the switches shouldn't see any water unless im cleaning the grass off.....the switches are also cheap to replace at $5 each if one ever fails....

Diesel,
Might I inquire as to what you did regarding the wiring.

Thanks

lost in wisconsin -

Not sure what Diesel did, but the tractor is pre-wired for the lights. Just look down the turn signal harness to find female connectors - cut them and solder directly, or find yourself the male round-style plug at Radio Shack and solder them onto the $19.00 lamps if you go that route. The headlamp switch is set up to illuminate the lights with your headlights already.

Ok, what I did is pick up the hot that is already back there for them and run it up to the switch panel. I dropped a Gator light switch in one of the empty switch holes, hooked that hot to it then came out the other side of the switch to the lights. I fed 2 hot leads up through the rops in case I want to add another set everything is already there. If you wired them right to Deeres provisions, they would be on whenever you turned the knob even if you didn't need them on. Hope this helps, its a real pain getting those wires fished up through the rops! The backhoe plates don't help either.
