Working around septic system

/ Working around septic system #31
I would have to agree with you. My dad drove over his drain field and tanks for 17 years with no problems. He even had to have an inspection done before selling. No problems. My grandfather has driven over his for approximately 35 years. No problems. My brother in law has the original drain field at his farm. I think it is around 40 years old (they had an out house before that) He mows over it no problems. I guess it boils down to how much you abuse it. You drive heavy equipment over it everyday and you will probably have problems. If you mow over it once a week, I don't see a problem. But that is just my opinion.

My neighbors tank collapsed under him when he mowed over it with a lawn tractor.
Tanks become weaker as time passes.
Steel rust.
Concrete deteriorates and crumbles.

My tank's been here since 1971.
Hain't no way I'm gonna ride my Bx 23 over that baby.
