Don't know where that was. I do know a bit north of the bypass on Ironwood, probably around Inwood, on the east side of the road, there was a house with a caboose in the front yard. That's where the publisher of the Tribune lived in the early 80s. He was/is an interesting guy.

We skied on a logging RR grade today near Courtney Lake in the UP of MI. This was a standard gauge and the company came up from Wisconsin after those woods were being logging out. It was in the 1900 to 1920 time frame and they ran steam locomotives. I should add there was quite a few RR logging operations to the south us just after the turn of the century.
