NATIONAL FARM MACHINERY SHOW in Kentucky claims to be the largest one in the U.S. don't know what they base it on but here are the #'s

Feb. 14-17 2007 Louisville, Kentucky
oldest indoor tracor pull in the U.S.A.
America's largest indoor farm show
800 exhibitors
1.2 million sq. ft. of indoor space
avg. 290,000 attendance since 1966
312,206 attendance last yr. (me one)

note--that's average attendance and indoors
maybe that's how they can claim it's the biggest
p.s. I can't afford to buy the first round; but I can handle three or four.
Kubota puts on a real big exhibit. Best to ya. Chas.

If you "don't really know anything about ag shows in the US or Canada",
how can you assert so definitely that those other shows are "much
bigger"?

As I said, "they say the biggest..." To be more accurate, let me quote
WoldAGExpo exactly. "The show is the world's largest agricultural
exposition, with 2.5 million square feet of exhibit space, over 1,500
exhibitors, and over 100,000 attendees."

IMHO it depends on what you are looking for. If I were a manufacturer I'd be interested in the number of visitors, if I was to buy a tractor I'd look at the exhibitors. Each show seems to have its own "magic" and it's hard to say one is bigger than the other. BTW for those interested there is a nice show in Plovdiv (Bulgaria) comming up at the end of February. And of course there is the almighty SIMA in Paris beginning of March. Does anyone think he will have the opportunity to visit these shows? might meet there.

I see that our "Administrators" are from San Diego, maybe they have a TBN booth reserved already to spread the word about the best online tractor resource in this galaxy. (How's that for big!):D

They should have a booth, but I have never seen one, the times I have
attended. They SHOULD have a booth and TBN hats for true believers.

As for what makes WorldAGExpo the biggest, it seems that the 2.4 million
sf is what does it. Most of the show is outside, but there are several
of those huge temporary buildings with smaller exhibits inside. Be prepared
to walk several miles between all the exhibits.

As for RVs, I think that is a great way to go....the parking is close to the
show. Last year there were 3 or 4 places to park your car away from the
show and free buses to shuttle you in.

OK, I know Homebrew and MntView and myself (as of yesterday) will be there. I will be there on Tuesday and Wednesday. Unfortunately, I have get back on the plane and come home on Thursday. As of yesterday there were still some rooms available in Fresno. I am flying into and staying in Fresno myself. It would be great to visit with any/all of you.:)
