7 - 2 so far...GO CUBS :cool2:
Great series and a great game 7. They don't get much better than that.
I figured they were rained out for the night so went to bed. Was actually surprised the Cubs had won it. Thought they had lost their momentum.
My wife knows nothing about baseball. We had fun with it. She picked the Indians, I took the Cubs. She was more fun to watch than the game. What a rollercoaster.![]()

Last night was first time my wife watched a baseball game start to finish. She was rooting for the Cubs as the underdogs and yes, she was riding that roller coaster. Even gave me a high 5 when the Cubs took the lead back. I think she's a Cubs fan for life now![]()
Same here. My lady friend and I watched the last three games together. We also choose the Cubs just out of pure chance since we don't follow any event all that closely. That final game was quite a thriller, even for us really old folks.
Baseball really does makes "America Great Again".
Mike
Their current Cubs payroll is 172 million. The Indian's payroll is 96 Mil. That's a big reason the Indians were such underdogs through all of this. They were getting a lot of bang for their buck.Nice win for Cubs.....Had they lost I would of worried for the pitching discussions made by Maddon....
Not sure if that is anywhere close to text book thinking.....Great players, will take huge money to keep them together for even a few years!
